All roads lead to the town of Jijoca, where paved roads end and adventure begins. It’s a thrilling ride traversing the dunes until finally reaching Jericoacoara, when unexpected wonders unfold.
Set in the northeast of Jeri, CUMELEN is located a bit off the beaten track, but only a 5‐minute walk to the Malheada Beach and the Serrote hill.
How to get to Jericoacoara
CUMELEN can assist in choosing the most convenient transportation according to the guests’ needs. It is not advisable to drive your own car since only knowledgeable drivers know local roads and weather conditions.
Closest international airport: Pinto Martins (FOR) in Fortaleza.
Shuttle Bus *
Comfortable minivan. Daily departure at about 7 AM from Fortaleza Airport or pick-up at the guest’s hotel, transfer in Jijoca village and arrival in Jericoacoara at around 2:00 PM.
